Centreville Bank Charitable Foundation Donates More Than $412,000 to 15 Organizations in Q3

Centreville Bank President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board Harold M. Horvat today announced that Laura Johnson has been named vice president of residential lending.

Laura JohnsonJohnson is responsible for the leadership and strategic direction of the Residential Lending Division, including all aspects of mortgage lending operations and management of the Bank’s residential mortgage origination team.

“Our residential and consumer lending operations are such an important part of what we do here at Centreville Bank,” said Horvat.  “The Rhode Island housing market remains very strong and Laura will be a huge asset with managing growth as well as leading our residential mortgage team.” 

Johnson’s career in the financial services industry spans some 24 years. Her most recent position was vice president, residential lending operations at Rockland Trust Company in Norwood, MA. Prior to that, she was vice president, product development/relationship management at NE Moves Mortgage, LLC in Waltham, MA.

Johnson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Emmanuel College, Boston, MA with Presidential Honors. She also manages the Gridiron club, the parent arm for Saint Anselm College Football. Her responsibilities include fundraising, helping to take care of the players’ needs at home and on the road, as well as helping new parents. Johnson resides in Norwood, MA.
